Pawpaws, not corn

This weekend at the farmer's market in Bloomington, there was no corn to be had (probably because of the extreme drought we've been having).  BUT - they had Pawpaws. Paul had told me about these, that they grow wild in Indiana and have a custardy taste.  But he'd never had them.  So when the opportunity came, we grabbed it.

I thought it tasted just like a mango, but a little more creamy.  But they have HUGE seeds - like if you stacked three quarters together, that'd be the size of one seed, and there are several in each pawpaw.
